Project Description
Constructed with plaster, the pseudo-geological sculpture joins the conversation surrounding our built environment. Imitating an imaginary and ideal rock, the layering of faux-limewash and dusting of dry plaster reproduces the natural. The embedded metallic found-object questions that reality, blurring the conceived boundaries between man-made and natural, foreign and native.
